Further information on the complimentary student insurance policy for Registrars

Registrars may apply for the complimentary student insurance policy only for work conducted solely within the scope of their Registrar program and under supervision.

It’s important to clearly distinguish between supervised, remunerated training undertaken as part of a Registrar program, and autonomous, independent clinical work.

If a Registrar is engaged in work outside the scope of their program and/or without supervision, they will not be covered under the complimentary student policy and will be required to obtain a paid policy.
